Bad day!

Well I had a bad day today! I didn't get much done for craft show. I was so tired I slept most of the day. I went upstairs and managed to get 1 tree done and almost finish the acrylic calender. I really need to work every night till thursday but after taking caring of grandson all day, I doubt that will happen. I was really hoping on getting alot of things done. I think my sleeping habit is out of control. I went to bed at 6 tonight and now I'm wide awake.
I can't wait till the show on Sat. I love doing this one. It's one of the better ones that I do. I do it with my friend. We make sure we get our spot next to each other.
I'm making alot of things under $5. It's at a school so I'm sure I will sell them.
I'm still working on christmas cards. Need to get them done. I hope I have time to make some for me!

Happy Saturday!

Well I'm off to the post office and I'm on a journey to find 12" chrismas trees. My show is next Saturday and I need to get my items done. Last night a idea hit me with the little tree. It came out so cute that I went to make more. Now I need to find the trees. It's a tree with victorian/rustic teddy bears. I think it would be cute for a baby room or toddler room. Or a teddy bear collector. I actually like it myself. It would be nice if I could make 6 for the show! I think it's different enough to catch the eye of everyone! Well have to go. Don't want to be at the post office all morning! I'll try to get a picture on here to see what everyone else thinks of this tree! Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!

Black Friday!

Well I've already went to Ac Moore and now I'm Back. Went to Michael's but It wasn't open. I guess I'll just stay home.
I usually go with daughter but her friend was going and they like different stores then me. So I told her I wasn't going this year.
I went out myself but it wasn't any fun so now I'm home. I guess this is another tradition gone! At my age you have to expect change. Oh well, life goes on.
I'll be working on finishing my things for my craft show next Sat. I need to finish Christmas decorating too.

Well the day is here. I hope everyone has a great day. Please take a moment to reflect how lucky we are. Thank all our military for making sure we have a great peaceful day! Tell a loved one how much you care. you never know what tomorrow will bring.
I'm sure all of you have different traditions. Enjoy them and pass them on . I've given up my holiday to my daughter. It was hard but it was time to let her shine. I must admit it's great getting up and not having to do anything. I can relax and go to her house. No mess!!!!
I am making gigantic chocolate chip cookies for grandson who's 2. I know he will love it. The smile on his face will say it all. I think this year he will understand more.
Well,I need to finish some of my craft show projects. Have a great Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Well Thanksgiving is almost here. My kitchen smells like Thanksgiving. For the last few days I've been making pumpkin bread. Yes I made 20 small loaves. I'm starting my Holiday baking. I usually make breads, cookies, candy, fudge, peanut butter balls and much, much, more. With the little one under foot I don't know how much I'll get done.
Haven't worked on cards in 3 days. I need to get busy, my craft show is next Sat.
It's hard to believe Christmas is around the corner! Does it seem like it's here too soon? I know all the stores near me had Christmas items right next to the halloween. I guess the stores are hurting so they rushed the season. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas but I feel it was rushed!

Good Morning!

Well the weekend is gone and I still didn't get my house decorated! I had good intentions but my life changes at a minute notice. You know me, I'm an over achiever! My morning started out on track. I cleaned my refrigerater. Then I decided to make some pumpkin bread. Got that done when a WW. friend called to ask if I was going to meeting. I told her no because I have to get my house decorated. Well before you knew it I was in shower, dressed and on my way. Then I got a call from another friend asking what I was doing. So I said nothing special, so after meeting I put groceries away. Oh did I forgot to tell you I went grocery shopping too. Lol! My friend wanted me to help her set up a blog! By time I got home with take out in hand for hubby it was after 3. Are you confused yet????? We ate takeout which was not WW. Then off to get a few more groceries.
Got back and a message from friend about the blog. We'were on for 3 hours!! Then I got a frantic call on my cell from Daughter saying she was taking my grandson who's 2 to childrens hospital. He fell and split above his eye. To make a long story short , he ended up getting 8 stitches. I managed to get some sleep and got up at 3am.
I must say this is my longest blog!

Decorating For Christmas!

I got up early because I decided to get my decorating done. I like to turn all the lights on Thanksgiving night. This has been my family tradition since I was a little girl. My mother's house would be the first house decorated on our street. She loved the idea of being the first one. Well I'm my mothers daughter. I have to be the first on my street! My daughter is the same also. She has to be the first! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Lol!

4New Christmas Cards!

Well snow is in the air. I love Snow! I know that sounds crazy but I really do. With the crisp cold air, it has put me in a holiday mode. I'm making more Christmas cards, getting ready for a Christmas craft show and planning to get my 12 different cookies, peanut brittle, fudge, caramel almond chocolate covered pretzel rods, chocolate peanut bark and much, much, more. I have alot of people that expect this every year. Last night I made 4 more cards. Here they are!

Crafting Weekend!

I had a very productive craft weekend. Got a lot of things done for my craft show. I made 3"by3" gift cards with envelopes. I also made some Christmas tags and cards. Now I'm working on all my tabletop Christmas Trees. I need to get pictures and will put the pictures of the trees on. I'm working on alot of new ideas. This craft show is a good one so hopefully I'll sell out. I have a 8ft space so I need to make sure I set up to display everything without looking over done. I need to seperate things because I have cards, altered items, Christmas trees, scarves, bookmarks, teachers gifts, journals, snowman soup,inspirational signs and many other items. I think I'll set up in my craftroom and take a picture so I can use it on that day,this way I can make it perfect. I'll be decorating my house next week. I like to have it ready on Thanksgiving night. I decorate all the rooms in my house. My kitchen is all gingerbread with a 5' Primitive tree in front of the window. I put wreaths on all my cabinet doors and gingerbread cans and decorations. The rest of my house is Snowmen. When I get it done I will take pictures. Well need to get busy. Wide Awake!!!!

Couldn't sleep again so here I am on the computer. I decided to work on my etsy shop. I decided to have a 2 week sale for black friday. Put all my cards on sale. Check them out . Great prices!

Well it's friday! Another week gone by. Tomorrow I'm going to go in my scraproom and makes some things for my show in Dec. First I want to get my christmas cards done to mail out, then I need to scrap my grandson birthday party pictures. I'm making albums for each year. Then when he gets married I'll give them to him to share with his kids. I just finished his 1yr-2yr. Now I'm starting 2yr-3yr. He got his 2 yr. checkup yesterday. The Dr. says he doing good, growing normal. My baby isn't a baby anymore!!!!
I've been working on a wood skate I'm altering. I want to make some boxes to put all my Chritmas fudge and goodies in. I guess my cricut will be busy this weekend. I'll be posting pictures on Monday!
It's raining today but it's supposed to be warmer today. I guess I can't complain!

Here's a card I made today! I couldn't sleep last night because I kept seeing this card in my mind. So I made it when I woke up! I guess I even think about cards in my sleep. I also made 2 more that are drying. I'll put them on here tomorrow.

Christmas Cards I Made This Weekend!

These are the cards I made this weekend. I sat and relaxed for a few hours and this is what I came up with. Sometimes I can make alot and sometimes I get nothing made. I guess I was in the mood this weekend. Can You tell I love snowmen and Gingerbread?????

Great Weekend!

Well I got alot done this weekend. I cleaned house and managed to do alot of cards. The best part of the weekend was my grandson's birthday party. He is 2!!!!! My baby is growing up! Friday he got his first haircut. He no longer looks like a baby. He had banana curls and now there gone!!!! He'll always be my baby. I took alot of pictures.The weather here has been great! It's been in the 60's. It's hard to believe it's Nov. I can't wait for our first snowstorm. Maybe we will get some on Thanksgiving. Thats when I decorate for christmas. We go to daughters for Thanksgiving dinner, then come home and turn the lights on. Then the next day my daughter and I go out at 4am for black friday. We call that our family tradition. This year will be a little different. We won't buy as much. With the economy like it is we're cutting down! We usually wear weird Christmas hats and have the Christmas music loud. We stop at our Starbucks for our pumpkin latte's. Of cause mine is the Lite one!!!!! We usually hit Michael's first, then Kohl's, then off to the Mall. By noontime we've had enough and come home. We love getting the great buys!!!!! Here's a picture of Grandson eating his cake. The tongue says it all!!!!!
