New Tea Cup Candles!

Here's some new candles I made this weekend! I've been busy!I also made 5 Altered Journals. As soon as I take pictures, I'll put them on here.

Great News!

As you know I sell my items on Esty and a local floral shop.
Well now I have 2 more floral shops interested in my items.
I'll be meeting with them and decide if I want to put my items in those shops.
I think it's a great oppoturnity and hopefully we will turn out to be a great thing.
I'm hoping this will lead to a successful business.

New Card!

Happy Monday! I had a really good weekend.
I went to yard sales on sat. and found great tea cups for my candles.
Found a roll of old lace for my cards. A huge roll. It will last me forever.
I made some more candles and put on Etsy.
Made some cards.
I even cleaned my house!!!!!

I sell my cards and candles in a floral shop. My friend Mel said I need to make a book of pictures so customers can see my work. When I print these I'll make me a
scrapbook.

I'm So Happy!

As you all know , I'm in a program called chemo angels.
I send cards to a women with cancer.
I got an email from chemo angels saying that women loves getting cards from me.
It made my night!!!!
It's so rewarding doing such a little thing that makes someone so happy!!!!
I know I'll sleep good tonight thinking about that!

New Soy Candle Line!

I'm now adding a candle line to HomespunHeaven! I'll be selling soy candles in tea cups. The new line is called " The Scent Of Memories". They are going to be sold at Morning Glory Florist.
Morning Glory is adding them to there gift section. I'll still be selling my cards.
I have a few other new items I'll be adding .
I'm also selling them on my etsy site.
I'm redoing my etsy site and will be selling all new altered items and scrapbooks.
I'm also going to do more craft shows this year. I'm already planning a busy holiday season.
Last year I ran out of alot of items. I've already started on this years items. There will be alot of new items.

My New Soy Candles!

Here's my new soy candles I'm learning how to make. I think they came out pretty good for my first time!

Change In Crafts!

I'm still doing cards but I'm taking a little detour into other things.
I love candles but because most of them have lead in the wicks and the black smoke, I decided to make my own soy candles.
This way I control the wicks and what I burn in my house.
I'm also big into recycling so I'm making my candles in tea cups that I find at yard sales.
I'm really enjoying this new craft!
I will still make cards and altered items but this is my new hobby.
I'm having so much fun.
I'll take pictures of them and put on here soon.

Happy Sunday!

Well I haven't made anything new in awhile. Been on vacation trying to get things done here in my yard.
Of cause it rained most of the week.
I did plant some more herbs and weeded some of my gardens.
I learned how to make soy candles.
I'm doing them in tea cups! They came out so cute.
Went to some yard sales yesterday. Found some great tea cups!
I've decided to add this new craft to all my others for craft shows!
I love the way soy candles burn. No black soot!
Plus I'm using recycled containers like tea cups!

Best Mother's Day!

I usually have sad Mother's Days!. Since my mom passed away they have been very sad and hard to deal with.
This year I was really not looking forward to another sad day.
On Sat. night I went to friends floral shop to visit. It was great to get my mind off the sadness.
They we're all busy doing flowers and I just sat and watched the excitement.
They next morning I went to the cemetary and put roses on my mom's and aunts grave.
( Yes they were beautiful roses my friend put together for me.)
I was a little down so I stopped and picked up some muffins and a lemon danish ring and brought them to the floral shop.
I stayed there and left in a better mood.
I fell in love with this chime with butterflies on it at her shop a month ago. They were holding it for me and I was going to buy it.
Saturday night it was gone and I was going crazy. I thought they sold it on me by mistake.
Well little did I know that my dd had gone in there and bought it for me for mothers day!
I was so happy to get it!
I called my friend and apologised for acting so crazy!!!!!
Now the lesson to be learned is be quiet and wait before you say something , especially if it's a holiday and my dd goes in there.
After the day was almost done , my dh came home. My friend sent home this beautiful vase filled with roses, lilacs, twigs and butterflies. It was so beautiful.
What started off to be a sad day turned out great!
