Another Rainy Day!

Well it's raining again today. It's great for my gardens but not my mood.
It's been a rough week.
I had my Dr. appointment. Went ok but I need some tests done. I've been putting them off but I really need to get them done! They can't wait.
Also I'm worried about someone dear to me. She has to get something done that really worries and scares me. Hopefully we'll have good news! I can only pray and hope for the best!
Then just deal and help her as much as I can.
I know I won't stop worrying about her but I can try to make it better for her by being by her side!
Well hopefully this rain will stop by the weekend. I need to get in my gardens. That always puts me in a great mood. It's my relaxing time after a bad week!

Here's a card I made last night. I managed to get it done even though I'm still making Easter Candy. I also finished up some Easter cards for my cousin. I guess I had a busy night.
I've been up since 3am working on the candy. I just have a little more to do and then I'm off to go grocery shopping. My day is already busy!

I hope everyone is having a great week. Mine has been busy. I'm hoping to get more cards done.
I just signed up for Chemo Angels. I should here back in about 6 weeks.
I know, just yesterday I said there wasn't enough hours in the day!
Well you know me, I like doing for others.
I'll be able to make cards every week for this person. It will be great. I hope they accept me.
I love making inspirational cards so this will be great!

Busy Week !

I've had a busy week so far. I've been making Easter Candy. That takes up alot of my time. Between making candy, making cards, playing outside with Grandson and chatting with my neighbor on the swing, I realize I don't have enough hours in the day.
As you can see, my blog has been changed to this beautiful new background. Thank God for my online friends, One of them made this background and they both worked hard to make it beautiful for me.
I'm lucky to have such great new friends!

With the weather getting better I'm starting to work in my yard. I have alot of gardens to take care of.
Also I'm planning a cookout for May. I'm making it smaller this year. Just a few people. It was big last year but this year I need to cut back a little bit.
So that should be interesting. I probably shouldn't have it at all but I want to.
I'm still working on my scrapbook room. I still need to finish painting!!!!!
Wish it could paint itself!!!!!
Well I think I'll take the little one outside for awhile before his mom picks him up.

Here's another card I made this morning. I'm getting to like the vintage look. I'm getting to use some of the papers I haven't used before. Very interesting look when you mix different papers.

Here's a Easter Card I made this morning. It's a little outside the box for me, but I still added my butterflies! It was a quick card to make. I guess I'm lucky I made this Easter Card! I don't make many. Easter is a sad holiday for me. I haven't really celebrated Easter since my mom passed away! When I was a kid we celebrated big time.

Another Card!

Here's a card I made while my dear grandson was sleeping. I love the word believe. I added my favorites, butterflies, and miracle and flower embellishments. This card means alot to me because I do believe in miracles. I had a miracle over 2 yrs. ago. I got my grandson and I survived a bad accident. So now you all know why I make inspirational cards!
