When the weather gets cold I start knitting. I making these for my craftshows! These are neck and handwarmers.

Breast Cancer Month!

Remember everyone to get your mammograms. Make sure all your loved ones get checked. Oct. is the month to support breast cancer. There will be alot of things going on for supporting breast cancer.
In my state there walking with pink torches and the state house will be lit in pink. There doing it at water fires.
If you live in the area go watch. It will be beautiful to see!

I'm Back!!!!!

I haven't written on here in awhile.
Been busy and sick.
Been busy working on all my things for the craft shows.
Don't get much time to breathe.

Have You Ever Had One Of Those Days?????

Well I did yesterday!
As You know I make candles along with all my other items.
Well I have someone that has a shop that wants me to make them in her tea cups. She wanted them by today.
Well I said yes knowing that my busy craft show time starts this week.
I started to make them only to discover I didn't have enough wax.
So I ordered some on line but it won't be here till Tues.
So I called her and told her I could only make her 4.
Then My thermometer fell on the floor, and doesn't work.
( Did I tell you I just bought that one last week because I knocked the other one on the floor and it broke in little pieces)
I call hubby at work last night and asked if he could pick me up a new one on his way home.
Then I smell something burning and my cord for my glue gun was on my burner. So I had to throw it out. I'm just lucky it didn't get on fire.
By then at 8:00pm I decided I'd go to bed and hope the morning would be better.
Well guess what????? It isn't.
Those candles cooled with bubbles in them.
So I think the lesson learned here is, when you get a feeling not to do something you shouldn't!!!!!
Well , sorry for my complaining!
Actually I'm laughing about it now but I have decided to tell her I can't do candles for her. I think my problem is I don't sleep at night, not enough hours in a day, and never a day to myself!

Well I finally made it!!!!!
I guess alot of guys buy flowers when the upset the wife or girlfriend!!!!
So I hope she likes it!!!!!

Labor Day!!!

Happy Labor Day Everyone! The sad part of it being labor day is knowing that summer is almost over.
We had a lousy summer here. Rain, Rain, Rain.
Then hot and humid. My gardens look awful. Bad year for my flowers!
I love fall! Wish it could stay fall all year!
I'm in the fall cleaning mode.
I'm on vacation from babysitting my grandson but now I'm baby sitting my daughters 2 dogs while they go on vacation.
I have a dog too. Fun, Fun, Fun.
Her dogs shed so all my fall cleaning will be for nothing!
I hope to get all my items done for all my craft shows starting this month.
I have alot of shows to get ready for!
I'll be posting some of my creations as I make them!

Another New Card Today!

I've had a busy day today. The weather here is great so I decided to get some Fall cleaning started. After cleaning all day I decided to go upstairs in scrapbooking room and get some more cards done for the floral shop.

Couldn't sleep last night so I decided to get some cards made for the floral shop! Mel said I'm getting low!!!! Hint Hint!!!!! I don't want to make her mad. (LOL Only kidding Mel)

Well it's friday. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Unfortunately I won't be doing the marketplace. It's going to rain. We're getting a little touch of the dan storm.
We have had great weather the last 2 days. Feels like fall!!!! My favorite season!
Well off I go with my grandson to the Farmers Market.
He likes his kettle corn!!!!!!!

Great week!!!!!!

I've had a great week so far.. My grandson is such a joy!!!! The terrible 2's are over!
I've been busy making all kinds of things.
I'm working on neck warmers and wrist warmers.
Making my air fresheners.
Have alot to do for all the fall craft shows.
My daughter bought me my favorite today.
Starbuck's Light java Chip frappachino!
I love them!
It made my afternoon!

Dedication To Mom Today!

Today I'm dedicating this blog to my mom who I lost 10 years ago today to ovarian cancer. She fought the battle with such dignity. She was my hero!
It seems like only yesterday!
I'm dedicating these first 2 songs to her.
I miss and love her so much!

More Cards And Magnets !

As you can see I've been very busy this week. I'm on vacation from babysitting my grandson.
The weather here has been in the 90's and very humid.
I've been keeping myself in the house to stay cool.
Thats why I'm getting so many items done.
Yesterday my daughter took me out for lunch and shopping with my grandson. We had such a great day.
She bought me lunch then she stopped and bought me my favorite! Java Chip Frappuchino at Starbucks!!!!! Love them!!!!!!!
I went all out and got the regular one with whip cram!!!! I was bad!!! But it tasted so good!
I've been watching the weather closely. Watching Bill come up our coast. I think we will just be getting high winds and waves but I want to be prepared.
Today's the anniversary of my mom passing. I couldn't sleep. I get that way every year on the aniversary! I'm trying to smile and think of all the good times we had when she was so sick and know that she's in a better place! Have a great day everyone!

New Items!

I'm on vacation so I'm catching up on my things for all my upcoming craft shows! Here some things I made today! I'm trying to keep myself busy this week. It's a bad week for me because it's the anniversary of my mom passing away. Every year I get in a depressed mood. This year I'm trying to not get that way.
I miss her so much!!! She was my life . I wasn't close to my dad, our relationship was a bad one,so my mom was my world! I'm lucky because I still have a few cousins and aunts on my mom's side who are there for me. Thank God for them!!!!!!
I'm so blessed to have my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. They are so good to me.
I love them with all my heart. My husband is the best too.
He knows to stay away from me this week because I cry alot! Well back to work to get my crafts done. Have lots of shows every week!

TGIF!!!!!!!

Well the week is almost over. I must say this has been the best week I've had in a long time. NO STRESS!!!!!!!
I just got back from the Farmers Market.
I took my cousin and my grandson.
He had so much fun. My baby is growing up.
He had his own money( I know at 2 1/2) He bought a bag of 4 huge m&m cookies. They we're bigger than his face. LOL!
I bought corn on the cob and a cucumber.
We had such fun. I think the little guy is pooped out! Maybe a nap is in his future!!!!
I'll take him out to lunch later.
We went down by the water and he watched the boats. We looked for the horses but no one was on the trail.
He's so happy for going today. He keeps coming up to me and giving me kisses.
I love my little guy!

Another Great Day!

Had a great morning so far! My cousin came over to visit Z and me. She brought me my favorite Lite Iced latte and munchkins for Z.
It's so great seeing her look so good.
She had cancer surgery a month ago and I thought I was going to lose her.
She's doing great and I'm so glad!
Tomorrow she's going to the farmer's market with Z and me. We will have a great day!
I'll miss her when she goes back to work! We have such great times when we're together.
We're planning our family reunion for Sept. It has to be extra special. Another one of are cousins is very sick. We want him to have a good time with all of us!!!!!!
Hopefully he will be able to come.

Great New week!

This week so far has been great!
Z is back. I'm babysitting my grandson. Vacation is over.
The weather has been warm but at least no rain.
I packed up my Jeep yesterday, picked up my cousin and off to the beach we went.
Z had the best time. He loves going to the beach.
He's starting to look like a coppertone kid! LOL!
This week isn't stressfull as last week. I took care of the problem or should I say problems. Nothing like an ocean breeze to bring your spirits up!
I need to realax and enjoy life. Don't need any negative things in my life.
I'm surrounding myself with good things and keeping busy getting all my things done for the shops I'm in and all the craft shows coming in the fall.
I'll be posting my new items I'm making soon.

I'm So Excited!!!!

I got my tent for craft show! I've been saving for it for over a year.
I won it on Ebay1
It's silver white and it's 10'x10'.
It has sides, windows and zips in front and back.
I'm working on a banner for it.
I bought some real good boat vinyl. Now I'm going to attempt to make a real cute banner.
I'll do it with black vinyl lettering on white.
Hopefully it will look great!
All my craft shows will be starting in Sept. so I wanted a nice tent!
Maybe it will help bring people to my booth.

Vacation Almost Over!

My vacation is almost over. I miss my z......
It'll be nice having him back on Monday.
I've been keeping myself busy! I go blueberry picking almost everyday.
I went tonight. I have about 15lbs. of blueberries in my freezer. I'll go everyday so I'll have enough to get me through the winter.
I've been working on my candles, cards and journals. I have alot of craft shows to do.
I'm putting my things in floral shops and adding more things to my etsy site
I just don't have enough hours in the day!
Well I'm getting tired.

Surprise Birthday Party!

I had the best day today! My daughter had a surprise birthday party for me.
We sat around her pool with my favorite cousins, aunts, and friends.
I was so surprised.
All week everyone was acting so strange. Now I know why.
My best friend from florida came with her husband and grandaughter,
We have been friend since 1978.
We met while my hubby was in the navy .
My friend mel from Morning glory was there.
All week I thought she was trying to diss me at her shop
! Now I know why she was nervious around me.
I thought it was full moon the way everyone was acting.
Thanks everyone!!!!!!
My favorite cousins were there and my best friend and neighbor Alice. My husband was there.
It was great!!!!!!
