My aunt asked me to design some cards for her. Here's a birthday one and anniversary one. I also made a birthday one for a little girl, but it's drying. There in a cello clear bag so I hope you can see them.

Busy Working On Items For A Benefit !

Yes, I'm busy again! You know the old saying "If you want something done ask the busiest person you know". Well thats me. My dd asked me to donate to a benefit for someone at her job. Of cause, I can't just make 1 thing! I'm making a lot of things!. I guess you could say I'm an over achiever. They need raffle things so I just made a huge basket with an altered pail with greeting cards, altered journal, altered planner, altered address book, altered clip, altered clip board, altered closepin and bookmark. Then I made a tabletop christmas tree and a knitted scarf. I'm still thinking of something else to make. It's for a good cause and I want the table to be full of items to raffle. In between that I did this card to sell on my etsy site.

Getting Ready For The Holidays!

I'm busy crafting for the holidays. The weather is getting cold here so it's getting me into the mood for crafting for the holidays.I've made a few items that I'll be putting on here. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I decorate my whole house from room to room with snowmen and gingerbread. I love putting a tree in the kitchen.I make table trees and put them on my counters, windowsill and just everywhere. These are the address books I altered.

Enjoying My Vacation!

My vacation is going great. I've been making cards, altering items and getting ready for my craft shows. I miss my grandson but I'm getting a lot done. I made this card today. I hope you like it. I'm starting on making my Christmas trees. I can't wait to get them done. When I do I will put them on here.

Finished My baby Book!

I have a baby shower today. It took all day yesterday to get my baby book done. I also made a card and a gift bag. I can't believe I got everything done! I'm working on 4 baby cards, 4 Anniversary cards and Birthday cards. I need to get my etsy shop stocked for the holidays. I altered some address books, journals, and clips. I'll be putting them on here soon.The weather here is beautiful. All the leaves have turned colors and it's a crisp fall day. The art festival is this 3 day weekend. First time we haven't had rain for it. I want to go tomorrow but not sure if I will be able to. Have a great weekend everyone! Here's the card I made for my dd to give at shower.

October is breast Cancer awareness. Please have all your loved ones get a mammogram. Its fast and easy. Check with your local hospitals. They can find you someplace to get one if you don't have insurance. We need to beat this disease with early detection!

It's monday!!!!!!

It's monday. Already?????? Seems like my weekend flew bye. I had a craft show on sat. It was outside in the cold and wind. Not a good show. They didn't advertise good so hardly any people showed up. Won't do that one anymore. Took a break yesterday from making items for my other shows. Needed a break. Did make some cards for floral shop. Couldn't sleep so I got up early. Have a busy day today. Need to shop and my grandson is already here. Got him early this morning. His mom had business trip.Hopefully I can get some cards done today. Been up cooking. Made baked oatmeal with blueberries. Yummy! Have to get moving! Have a great week everyone!

Busy Crafting!

Well I've been very busy doing and getting ready for craft shows. There isn't enough time in a day for me. I'm up late at night and up early in the morning working on all my designs. I've been selling my cards in Morning Glory! Thats keeping me busy. I'm working on some altered items, Christmas items and many unique signs. I'll be making a list of all my shows to let you know where I'll be.
Christmas will be here before we know it. I already have alot of Christmas things ready to sell. I'll be adding them to my Etsy shop.I'll be making table top trees decorated with tags and cinnamin ornaments. They are very popular so I need to start making them this week. I'm making christmas tags, gift cards. I have lots of gingerbread and snowmen cards. Something for everyone!

I've been missing for a week. I've been busy babysitting, making my cards and altered items and doing craft shows. I did one Sat. and have another one next Sat. I'm also selling my cards and signs in a floral shop. I'm trying to get everything done till late at night and early morning. Doesn't give me much time to sleep.I'm trying to get my Etsy Shop stocked with some new items. I'll be adding altered items to my card collection. I can't wait. I'm really happy with the new items I'll be adding. It'll be next week or so before I can add them. Check my Etsy shop daily. It might be done sooner. Have a great day everyone!

Worried For Nothing!

I guess I worried for nothing. My grandson ended up getting 3 stitches. What a champ! He acted like he never got hurt. I guess boys are accident proof. Lol! I'm working on more cards. I'm selling them in a floral shop. Hopefully this will be a good adventure for me. I'm trying to get ready for some craft shows. I got rained out of the one Sunday! Oh well, there are others. I'm thinking of doing a video on some of my cards. Give ideas to anyone who would want them. I have a Flip, so all I need to do is figure how to do it! That could take months! Lol. Well grandson will be here in a few minutes. I need to make his breakfast and bring out on patio. He loves eating out there and watch the wiggles! Have a great day everyone!

Can't sleep!

I'm still up tonight up here on my computer. I can't sleep. I'm over tired! My grandson fell and is getting stitches at the Childrens Hospital.I'm waiting for my daughter to call and let me know how he is. He's only 22 months. He was playing with his dogs and fell on the ceramic tile floor. Boys will be boys! I know it happens but I feel so bad for him. Poor little guy!
I made some Halloween cards. I just put them on my etsy site! Yes, Halloween will be here before we know it. The stores already have halloween items in one isle and christmas in the next. Could they rush the holidays any faster???? I feel like summer just flew by! Before we know it snow will be falling!!! Not yet i hope! Heres my new cards. I hope you like them!

Rainy sunday!

What a miserable rainy day today. I was supposed to do a craft show. I got up and packed my jeep only to have a bad rain storm. So I unpacked and called it a day. I was really excited about this show. It was my first show with my cards. Oh well, I'll have the cards for all my other shows. I've been busy working on Christmas items for all my other shows. Working on alot of new items!
I'm selling my cards in a Flower Shop now. I can't wait to see if they do good there. I hope to start selling in different shops all around my state. That's my new focus!!! Maybe I won't have to do craft shows.
Well Fall is definately here. I can smell it in the air! I'm almost done decorating outside. Halloween will be here, then thanksgiving, then my favorite Christmas!!!!! I've already started my Christmas Shopping! I buy and wrap. Usually I forget what I buy and buy too much!

Storm Not Bad!!!!

Well we had the end of Hannah last night. The way they talked it was supposed to be high winds. I slept through it. They said it was supposed to be bad. I took all my Fall decorations down so they wouldn't blow away. What a waste. I had to redecorate this morning. At least I got alot of cards made. I made 12 new Christmas ones. I'll add some pictures later. I love the weather today. warm and breezy. I think I'll make a apple pie. Am I making your mouth water????? Or maybe apple crisp.Maybe I should just be good and eat lowfat. Nah, thats no fun! LOL!!!! Well I guess I better get some more things done for my craft shows! Now that I have you all thinking about pie, I will leave. See you all later!!!!

Great Day!

Today is going to be a great day. If you know anything about New England, we have beautiful weather in the Fall. I started decorating with garlands of leaves and a huge wood decorated primitive pumpkin. I added pumpkins on each of my Shutters. I was going to finish today but we're supposed to get very high winds on Sat.from the hurricane. I guess I'll have to undecorate! When the storm is over I'll redo and finish decorating. I'll take pictures and put on here. I've been busy babysittng my grandson and trying to get all my items for the shows I will be doing. I'm working on all kinds of Christmas items, wood items, altered items and my cards. Well need to get busy and run some errands. Hopefully I won't lose electricity on sat.

Summer Is Almost Over!

Well summer is almost over. I'm glad in some ways and not others. I love Fall! Actually I like all our seasons! Thats why I live in New england. I'm starting this week to decorate for Fall. I love decorating with cornstalks, pumpkins, and mums. I usually put pumpkins on my shutters. Fall wreaths on my doors. I also put leave garlands on my fence. When i'm done i'll take pictures!I can't wait to jump in the leaves with my grandson. He's 21 months so I want him to love Fall like I do.I'm working on my Christmas Cards and trees for my craft shows. Busy, busy, busy!

It feels like Fall To Me !

I woke up this morning and it feels like Fall. That's my favorite season. It makes me think of Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie. Makes me want to start Fall cleaning and getting my long sleeves out. But today I'm busy designing more cards. Before we know it , Christmas will be here. All my craft stores here already have fall, halloween and even christmas items in stock. Can we at least finish one season at a time???? I'm all for getting my seasonal items made but I would at least like to enjoy the rest of summer. I've been busy designing new cards.
